A brief summary of 2010

2010 was a pretty good year for me.
I covered a total of 145,112 miles, had 263 nights away from home. 174 of them in USA and 89 in Canada.
All in all with bonuses, lay over pay (twice I think :open_mouth:  ) and border crossings it was a very good year and all legal with log books intact (not loose leaf or running 2 or 3 log books)

$2600 in showers alone, thank you tax man

A snowmobile will be heading for the DC household I think

Wow you use paper logs, the first thing I did when I started was get the computer log program. Nice and easy clean and come tax time easy to figure out days out x 18.00 for meals. I think mine even has the tax program with it I will have to check.

263 nights away from home

That would mean 102 days at home, you slacker dont you know that Canadian drivers are suppose to drive 14 hrs a day 365 days a year. With that driving time you must be on Welfare as well, you cant possibly be making any money. Just ask Robbieee to crunch the numbers for you. Ill set up a box in the hallway for you for canned goods donations.

Not bad considering you work less hours than us OTR lot and get home every night

I haven’t worked out 2010 yet, but we’ve had a 3cpm rise this year so it’ll be better than 2009, back then I grossed $66k and got $5k back from the tax man, I was pretty pleased with that. Comparing it with Jon, I got an extra $20k for having nights out, which coincidentally is exactly how much I spent on having a month’s holiday and buying my Charger :sunglasses:
