I think I know the answer,but work run to malaga and alicante got 2 shops there,run to the docks boat to northern Spain then trek down to malaga and alicante.
Never been abroad or on a ferry before but love too but it’s the fear of the unknown really.
Am I running before I can jump?.

Just go steady keep yourself 100% legal park where others park and be extra safety conscious on everything your doing . Lock the doors at all times

Hope you don’t get sea sick…That bay of Biscay can get a bit rough…
The Bilbao and Santander ferries have a swimming pool on the top deck,casinos,nightclubs and a lecture about whale watching in the bay of Biscay, with a chance to spot whales.
Pack the sunscreen and trunks, the sea is warm now for a dip on your 45 minute tacho break by the beach.
bit of help m8 if u on bilbao boat or santander look out for one of the guys doing algeciras/morrocco for davies turner u cant miss there trl still some english guys doing it they prob let ya tag on the back and they have to go by malaga u prob meet them in driver restaurant or the bar lol. gd luck en route dont park in any laybys always 24hr rest area close to pumps or building happy travels.

If you get coaches on with school kids, God help you, they go mental, running around the decks all night, screaming and shouting.
The pursers put out tannoy calls, to control them.
But the teachers are in the bar letting their hair down , so don’t care.
The ships staff call the kids petite elephants.
You may have to share a cabin with four bunk beds, with drivers of the same nationality, expect snoring, â– â– â– â– â– â– â– , and somebody coming in at 3 am drunk as a skunk, body odours and smelly feet.

Plus correct and in date permit ,vehicle docs, your docs,28 days records or letter if you have none or just started working for company.
When stopped have every thing by the book because the fines can be telephone numbers for the smallest thing wrong,
Also watch your speed and take plenty of breaks,leave card in all the time and keep evidence of your ferry crossing,
Also in Spain start and end shift with region you are in,takes a bit of working out where you are sometimes.
BEWARE WHERE YOU PARK a lot of crime on the med coast good external doors locks handy.
