ve never seen before? Midlift?
It looks like a unit has been added onto a short tri axle trailer?
Dads old DAF
It’s a 8wheeler but the last axle steers it’s a more a sliding canopy
The turning circle of that must be horrendous with the gap inbetween the front axle.
It’s more of an American 8 wheeler layout, I’ve seen a couple round here but generally they had rear steers.

It was supplied brand new by Volvo to that spec… There was an article about it in one of the magazines at the time. Trucking Int I think.

Well…if I were to be Mr.Pedantic I would say that technically its a bulk blower …but yeah it does tip
Fine looking bit of kit though, better still if it was a twin steer

The configuration is known as a Tridem setup. But they are not always all driven, sometimes they will have a tag axle

It is…the rear axle steers as well
Yes but in a camp limp wristed look at me sort of way.
They should have had a twin steer on the front, double drive and a rear steer tag and done it properly like the Dutch ones
