I know a couple of people who drive 7.5 tonners on their car licences with grandfather rights just as I used to. The C1 licence is now a vocational licence and presumably has to be re-newed just the same as a C or C+E licence. So the question is does someone on grandfather rights have to re-new his/her licence or does he/she get it forever■■?
