Im looking to hire one to move house. Its not for reward. How do I stand legally please with regards to tacho hrs on the day I use it and my normal working and driving hours monday to friday ? Who records the data off the digi card ?
What other pitfalls should I know about please

As the job is not for commercial purposes and the vehicle does not exceed 7.5t you will be exempt from EU and domestic regulations, no need to use your driver card and no need to keep any other kind of records.
You will be completely exempt from any drivers hours or tachograph regulations.
