I am spending a few weeks working locally on one of our 7.5 tonners and have been told I can work 7 days a week. Is this correct as not sure on the rules on this one. Thanks
Depends on what work you are doing whether it falls under EU rules or UK Domestic.
as he said ^
Don’t think so, unless the type of work you do fall’s within the tacho/hours exemptions. You need to check it online at the DVSA website for guidance.

If you’re working to EU regulations you cannot work seven days a week because you need a weekly rest period of 45 consecutive hours at-least every second week, the alternate weeks you need a reduced weekly rest period of at-least 24 consecutive hours.
If you’re on UK domestic regulations you can work seven days a week.
If you tell us what the job involves, ie what you’ll be carrying, we should be able to advise you better.
