Exactly. If I reduced my weekend break to 41 hours this weekend, I could take a 13 hour break on Monday night and it would have been paid pack.
I often find myself reducing a WRP by just a few minutes or sometimes a couple of hours Harry. however, as I regularly seem to be having anything up to 16 hours DRP due to lack of work, I regularly pay this reduction back on my Moday into Tuesday DRP but, as I understand it, I still have to show a full 45 hour WRP the following week.
It racks me off as an owner driver to sometimes have to lose work on a Saturday because I reduced last weeks WRP by half an hour enen though I’ve had heaven knows how many hours DRP off during the week. Perhaps Coffeeholic can confirm if I’m thinking right here.

Yep, if you only have a reduced rest one week then the following week will have to be a full rest of at least 45 hours to meet the requirement for any two consecutive weeks to have a minimum of one full and one reduced weekly rest period.
Thanks for the confirmation there Coffeeholic, appreciate it
