As for Paul Arthurtons old 143, Joe Rothery owned it before Paul, so presumably Wally Thorburn had it when it was new.
i was the very proud pilot of this vehicle from october 07 to march 08, it was put onto M500 TAG whilst with paul, my boss paid for it to stay on there. (it breifly went to scotland from paul but wasnt worked so my boss went and brought it back down.)
its really nice to see photo’s of it b4 i got my hands on it, so many people came and spoke to me when i had it asking me where it stared life i wish i new to history on it, so if anyone can help me find pictures of it in its 13 years on the road b4 i got hold of it i’d be very greatfull.
here’s a picture of it when i had it, i’ll dig out some more…
Gallachers had a one with M500 - - - cant remember the no but it looked well in metalic ice blue Had side panels as well.

It seemed strange to me when i first saw this truck, and still does now, why they would make a high spec truck like that, then put a window in the back!?
I remember meeting a bloke who drove this when McKellars had it, at TNT Round Spinney when i was doing the bearing job for the Swedes. He was a huge fella, he wasnt very old at the time, prob around 40 now i’d say, maybe a bit younger. The truck was a shadow of its former self then (around 1998-2000ish)
does anyone have any more pictures of the terminator themed 143?
Kindle,
I asked Scantruck @ Purfleet the question about the side and back windows when I first got the lorry and their answer was that the vehicle was specced with every extra available at the time, which is why they were fitted.
Spoiled the lorry in my opinion, but the other toy’s more than made up for it.
Cheers for that dazzler, as i said, i allways wondered.
JamesSMCC, the Terminator was a 113-380 not aV8
