3663 health & safety

I delivered to 3663 at Lee Mill near Plymouth today and as i was there the usual couple of hours i needed to visit the toilet.
So i head off to reception to gain entry into the building and you have to fill out a visitor pass with reason you’re there, name, company and vehicle reg so that’s fair enough but also you have to tick yes/no to:

have you visited Asia, South America or Africa in last 3 months,

Have you suffered from sickness or diarrhoea in last 48 hrs,

Have you been in contact with anyone who might have Typhoid, Parathyroid, Hepatitis or Gastro-enteritis,

Are you suffering with infectious illness, skin infections, nasal discharge or boils and septic wounds.

If I would have ticked yes to any of them I couldn’t use the loo FFS :unamused:

H & S gone a bit mad maybe.

Lucky it wasn’t me, I would have had to tick all of it and then had to ■■■■ my pants :grimacing:

Is this a 3663 thing or depot thing,I haven’t delivered to them for I guess 8 months(swithen bank,Bradford) but I never encountered this,I just asked at window if I could use toilet when I booked in ,they just let me in and somebody swiped card to let me out.

Yes ok that was a bit OTT but were the toilets in pristine condition?
No graffiti offering ■■■■■■ services of various ladies?
Or that some numpty was a plank?

3663 ■■?/ is it a food factory or something ■■

I think thats pretty reasonable.

i collect in the midlands at a site and it is exactly the same as what you have put on here but the difference with me its cardboard im collecting nothing to do with food, and the questionaire is just to be onsite.also they give me an orange hi-vis to put on even though im wearing a yellow one.

dozy…you won’t be doing Swithy’s for much longer! As for the rest of the OP, I think most depots are different…come to ours and you don’t need to sign in and are free to use the loo and make yourself a brew and sit and watch TV if you want…but if you are called from the w/hse because they think you are sitting in the yard in the truck, they won’t come looking for you. This maybe because Lee Mill and most of the others are multi temp depots and we are ambient only and nobody wants to run the risk of someone entering the premises with any contagious diseases or whether the toilets are situated ‘inside’ the warehouse (security purposes). We only started letting outsiders in as the ‘tardis’ we had outside was unfit for use (even for dogs!!)…Abingdon depot still has one of these in use for outsiders and my place have just purchased a new piece of ‘equipment’ for other religions as they tended to put most of the ‘goods out’ over the floor and leave it for everyone else…dirty basa’s

I do 3663 newbridge almost daily and they are brand new. Can sit in cab, go to the canteen, have a bleather with the goods in office guys who actually talk to you instead of blanking you.

Must be a depot manager thing. Signs went up saying bidvest at newbridge who are these characters?

The fatal flaw in their system is you.

After all, you can answer those questions any way you want, making the whole excercise pointless.

You can see the next step…

I think you’re right i also go to their depot at Caldicot and you can just swan about anywhere there.

That’s nothing to do with 3663 its pretty standard in all food prep companies, Bakels in Bicester are the same if you actually go onsite other than Goods In

I wouldn’t say it’s standard in all food prep companies, i do a load of collections or deliveries at these type of places and have not experienced this before and this was just to get into where the offices and toilets were and nowhere near any food.

I had the same at the fish place in Grimsby.
rather pointless though,as I later witnessed an employee, vacate a cubicle without washing his hands

Your right I go to premiere food places and some are as ■■■■ as you experienced today some are not,it’s swings and roundabouts or more than likely some jumped up h+s bell end who’s trying to justify being paid silly money for making up said rules.

Hope I don’t have to go there soon
