30 mph Speed limit through Featherstone

There is a 30 mph Speed limit through Featherstone on the A49 near Cannock it has been reduced from 40mph on the short stretch from the M54 J2 to just after the traffic lights then it reverts back to 40mph. I am presuming that the speed cameras have also been altered to suit. I hope this post is helpful.

There are 4 camera locations on that road, and according to the PGPSW forum, they are still at 40 mph.

Does anyone know when the limit changed?

Our office is in Telford so I use this road regular, if you can get upto 30 on that short stretch you’re doing well, the que goes up the M54 slip very often. Not much better the other way either.
