Used to see warning signs on the gantries of above,for the forest fires in the summer,are they still fining for throwing out cigarettes out of the window.This was in Spain.
I expect you’d have to ask a Pole or Lithuanian that nowadays!
They have huge satelite dishes on their cabs,for all those dodgy films they watch at night.

Ive not seen anything on the news lately, but as its now starting to warm up I suspect we will see more of the same in the coming months. The north of Spain will be OK for a week or two as its ■■■■■■■ down up there, but its getting a lot warmer next week down here - 25 in Malaga and 27 in Almeria / Murcia tomorrow.

Why throw ciggie butts (or anything else!) out of the window anyway? Fire is a big problem in any country in the summer. Stub it out in the cabs ashtray because you stink like an old ashtray anyway! Fines should be high to deter littering etc. Don’t you get hissed off when someone throws a can or ciggie packet in your garden? Same thing really.

I agree, fines for litter louts should be high. Yes I do get annoyed when someone throws large pieces of litter into my garden, or anywhere else for that matter.

No it isn’t. A tin of ■■■ packet is quite a large unsightly object. A ciggie ■■■■ is tiny, I smoke roll ups, my cig butts will biodegrade in days if its dry, hours if its wet. A tin of ■■■ packet will take months or years to biodegrade.
