2nd Driver - UK to Bulgaria

We will be driving out a truck from the UK to Bulgaria next week. We have one driver but ideally need 2.

When do we leave. How are we getting back. Does the other driver speak English.

The motorway or normal road service stations in Bulgaria are odd.
They display a huge pile of ceramic coffee mugs by the counter and next to thst an expensive coffee making machine.
I ask for a latte and they put a token in a cheap vending machine and only paper or plastic cups.
They eat fried chicken livers or stew.
Pigs hearts and lungs.
Sea snails.A bit chewy and bland taste.
For driving it is no problem but expect some poverty.Housing tower blocks that are old and falling apart.
There is Dominoes/Pizza Hut/Mcdonalds and Kfc in larger towns.The hills are nice scenery.People friendy enough.
■■■■ are £2 a box.
Cyrilic signs and are confusing.
Never park alone.Find trucks in a group.A cab safe is an idea.

Never change money in the street.Only banks,reputable hotels or booths called Crown.
Other places you get fiddled.Tempted by a good rate.You will get change in useless expired currency.
One pound is 2.2 levi.Coins are Stinski or words similar to that.

Bulgaria was nice, friendly people, pretty ladies and lovely food.

I’ve been there it’s a lovely country, food can be a bit basic in places but lovely scenery and even better looking girls, in fact i like it so much there we brought a place in Pamporova 8 yrs ago.
