Looking for a bit of advice on the 24 volt microwave, (1) are they any good (2) can I wire this direct to my truck 24 volt batteries or do I still need a inverter, any help would be greatly appreciated
get a 12v and a mega pure sine wave inverter.
to replace the microwave then becomes £30 out of asda.
get the workshp to hard wire it,either direct,or with an anderson coupling otherwise make sure you have good fire insurance, and run the truck whilst your cooking your beans.job done.
a 24 v micro is just a £30 quid crap one for 10 times the price, with an extra bit of 24v gubbins instead of 12v inside.

Surely you mean get a 240v, not 12v ■■? (and a 24v to 240v inverter)

my mistake…get a 240 volt micro from asda for £30 and a good 12 volt inverter pure sine wave, though modified sines work fine for the cpl that ive had in previous years. 2000 or 3000 watt power then it does the bizzo no matter what kind of waves they are.
the 24v micros are just mega overpriced because they are for a limited market, hence the mug charge.
Like this 240v microwave and kettle from curry’s and 3kw inverter

The Daewoo QT1 240v microwave seems to be a choice of many here, compact enough to fit in a locker but big enough to get a full size plate in. They’re also favoured by the boating and caravan fraternity
Thanks for the advice guys
