If anyone looking for something to watch tonight, 24 hrs in custody on 4OD. Most compelling TV I’ve watched in a long time, highly recommended.
One of my PT clients is part of that show, she’s one of the good guys. Haven’t seen the first episode as I’m on holiday at the moment but did record it.
What channel number on Virgin is that?

It’s Channel 4, 21:00 on Mondays Rog, so whatever number Ch 4 is on Virgin.
Now the cats out the bag, must admit was shocked when he was found not guilty. His demeanour totally changed, when they found the phone box.

If I ever need a solicitor in the future I want that one!! Selling protein shakes!! Right!
Did you notice how much timber the gig fella had lost when they went back to him at the end, that must have been thru worry, guilty as sin ,god knows how he got away with it,all the rest got time and he walked even though in my eyes he was one of the main players
Surely he had to agree to make that program, especially as he was interview at the end, he was prob thinking he’d look innocent! Idiot.

Think he knew all about it and a had a dodgy phone but easy to see why he wasn’t going to admit to knowing about what was going down and how a jury wasn’t going to convict really without the police being able to prove it was him who was making the phone calls the evidence was seemingly strong but also circumstantial.
All seemed to hinge on who had the phone and made the call to the guy hired to do the hit but ultimately the police had no concrete proof. I might be wrong but I didn’t get the impression the guy was a threat to society.

Think the whole thing did take its toll on him but was more likely through having to stop juicing when he was inside.

My guess would be he needed the money.
As he was on remand for 4 1/2 months and then found not guilty, I am sure he will be eligible for compensation for lost earnings and inconvenience and all that blah.
I think he knew all about it, but the fact that they couldn’t prove beyond all reasonable doubt he was connected via the phone the jury couldn’t find him guilty, good old British justice at work.
Enjoyed watching it, hope it isn’t a 1 episode series like that cops and robbers one turned out to be a few weeks ago
