Ok so first post but I’m bloody confused…
Been offered a job with maritime out of southampton tramping (we all know the work and pay and truck specs etc)
Also a job for a small specialist transport (6 trucks) company driving a volvo FM globetrotter (no fridge) wag and drag with 50t hiab delivering 20ft containers here there everywhere, they guarantee to be home by 4pm every Friday and start at 6am on a Monday 3-4 nights out a week , pay is 10.50 for 40 hrs then 12.50 thereafter 26 a night out… also you run the truck yourself as the office is based up north…
so pros and cons please also I’ve never lived in an fM they look too cramped? and what would you guys do regarding comfort and working all wethers…
