Im doin my 1st trip to Toulouse next week and i
ve not been down into France before, done Belgium and Holland but not for a few years,i dont know where i
m shipping so i just take it as Dover/Calais unless told later.Just after some info please, best route, safe parking, good eating, how long from Calais to get there etc
Thanx in advance,oh an are there still striking in France, not been over for a few years,ta.
calais -arras-paris-orleans-N20-mountauban-A62 toulouse is the way id go its about 600 miles
or calais rouen -le-mans-tours N20 etc
Personally I would go Calais to Abbeville
for mon repas then Rouen, Chartres, Orleans, Bourges Limoges using A71 and A20
There are literally hundreds of good stopping places all the way down from Chartres. Bourges is good as is Chateauroux because it opens on a weekend
If you are using Nationals then head for Rouen Chartres, Chateaudun and Chateauroux then onto the N20 A20
