Little gem indeed - thanks for posting it! I reckon it was made around 1966, looking at the hardware. Fascinating to see the new motorway up to Brenner pass under construction, viewed from the old road over the top.
Great stuff, thanks! At a stage, the driver just slips from the steering wheel to the top bunk (his mate is in the other one), without even taking of his jacket. Who would agree with such working conditions today?
Yes, that struck me too; as did the pair sauntering out of the hotel, sweeping the snow off the windscreen and driving off into the snow without any walk-round checks or WOFT checks! I assume that was film-maker’s licence 
Nothing ever went wrong in those far off halcyon days. 
Mind you I haven’t had time to watch it yet, perhaps there is a certain amount of editing gone on?
