We exited haulage in 2011 but as it runs in the veins we always though of dipping our toes back in.
We now have an operator’s license for 4 trucks. We are thinking of putting a 18 tonne rigid on the road to do uk ireland furniture work. My question is, and don’t shout down at us lol, any thoughts on price per month for a rigid rental?

Furniture is high cube/low weight?
Look at Shytots idea? Are there suitable rentals available? . New furniture, not removals? If youve been away from haulage for a while check the import/export regs. All do-able of course, but not frictionless.

Not many places on the internet quote prices, but this is £420 PW for a tractor unit.
