lol :grimacing: 4.5 hour drive, 45 min break, 4.5 hour drive another 45 min break. Twice a week ( between weekly rest periods! ) drive another hour! Two tens! Plenty of POA  and do it three times ( between weekly rests ) two 13/ three 15s = 71 hours trying to kill yourself for what? It’s 2015! Not 1974! :imp: if you want run in on the Saturday for thirteen hours and do 84 hours ( that’s out of 144 hours ) and enjoy your 24 hours at home, kissing the wife, fishing, football hooliganism or drinking down the pub and REPEAT 71 hours the week after! :smiling_imp: BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU! :grimacing:

I had a few movements today on my 15 spreadover,…last night’s bloody curry!

Not called that any more is it? Basically you have to have a minimum 9 hour continuous break in any 24 period as a solo driver working to EU regs.

I mean what breaks do I need to do on a 15 hr day ? Iknow after 4.5 hours to have a 45 min break and again another 4.5 hrs need 45 min break but unsure about the 15 hour day. Cheers for response

Are you talking about WORKING time?

Well take the driving aspect out of the equation and your left with the WTD for drivers. That states you cannot work more than 6 hours without a break. So for arguments sake 4 hrs wk 15 break 4wk 15br 4wk 15 break then your left with 2h 15 min which is your 15 hr shift

15 hours :open_mouth: :open_mouth: its a long time since ive done that :exclamation: :exclamation:

Firstly. The 2 x 10 hour drives are for the fixed week not between weekly rests.

And if you really wanted to smash it you can do 90 hours in a week using split daily rests.

Do not drive more than 4.5 hours without having a 45 or 15 + 30 tacho break
Do not drive + work more than 6 hours without having a 15 min RT(WT)R break
Breaks can count for both but the rules for driving time breaks take preference

For the working time regulations you need at-least 45 minutes break/breaks for a shift over nine hours.

Driving breaks also count as WTD breaks so if you’re having a 45 minute driving break your day is covered for the WTD, if you try to arrange your driving breaks so you don’t go over six hours working time without a break of at-least 15 minutes you won’t have to have extra breaks for the six hour rule, unless of course you want extra breaks
