So The EDC light stays on and the breaks compressor on my 03 Tector has stopped running (I cant hear the noise it makes and the break pressure is not building up) has anyone got any ideas before I go through the task of tilting the cab

Probably needs a new compressor. Can’t see why that puts the EDC light on though. IIRC Iveco didn’t used to supply just a cylinder head and a new compressor was cheaper from DAF.
I would say it might pay to check the air dryer unit, as on our stralis’s the air dryer can fail and stop the unit building up with air even though the compressor is working.
