Once headed up a training team that didn’t know each other, but got stuck together and sent out on the road together for 2 years. I had a team build idea of us going away the weekend before our first job, (and Safeway could pay off bills without Morrisons authorisation at that point) so off we went to the Moat House at West Brom. Lovely leisure club.
One of the young ladies wasn’t the slimmest, but every curve was where any man would want it.
I’m actually very shy, so I had a few drinkies to assist the bonding of the team on my part.
Said lady ended up in the Sauna with a few of us.
Jesus Christ! Saunas and booze are not supposed to mix, oops.
Tat right at the base of her back.
Me (half cut) “Is that Chinese for No Entry?”
Total silence. Could have crawled up my own arse.
Night went a bit quiet, everyone went a bit subdued, casual small talk, early nights all round.
Midnight, knock on my door. Said young lady. Half expected a “can’t work with you” chat
Didn’t happen
And no, it didn’t mean that.
We still text, all these years on

Not 'cos of the subject, but that is one of the worst tattoo’s i have ever seen (and the saddest)
I remember a few yrs ago,Mr Vain put a photo up of one of his mates, who had a griffin tattoo. If i could find it i would put a link up. (I thought it was bloody awful)
And there was a picture in the free truck paper, or one of the truck magazines, years ago now, of a bloke who had his XF95 tattoo’d on his back, cant remember the name of the firm at the min.

It looks like a kid as drawn round a toy truck then wrote the name in pen…it go,s to show that breed are not normal,but at least he cant see it on his back,the bloke with it on his arm as got to look at that mess 24/7. totally barmy crackers loony nutters

Not lorry related, but i found this a couple of weeks ago. Absolutley amazing, probably the best tattoo ive ever seen!!
I posted somewhere on here ages ago about a youngish lad who did have the Scania Griffin tattooed on his back. Along with a big V8 tat.

iirc wasnt there a guy in Hull a few years ago had a Xf Daf tattoo on his back. Full size Jobby. D&P seems to ring a bell.
