slow , obviously agency hanging the job out on hourly pay

Thank you guys, this saves me from completing my default when devices are dicking about which is usually running them under the tap for a while! 
its now nearly on a par with all the newspaper links from here that take about 3 weeks to open correctly due to all the adverts on them opening 1st .

I’ve had a look by using a lappy using high speed broadband on my home router…
I’ve had a look by using my iPhone using high speed broadband on my home router…
I’ve had a look by using my iPhone on 4G…
I must say TN does seem slower than normal, so I’ll inform the Tech Team so they can look into it.
Thanks to everybody who flagged this up.
So it ain’t just me then.
Think I’ve sorted the other problem on here with my new phone (put it in ‘Safe’ mode) and until I saw this thread thought the VERY slow responding from the site was part of the same prob.
Was going to what’s app Maoster for his advice on it until I saw his thread but it would be a case of The blind leading the blind. 
Just to keep everybody informed…
I’ve sent a message to those with a greater technical knowledge than me, they’ve replied to say that they will look into it for us.

Is anyone else finding that it takes about 6 seconds for a page to load today 
Nope, no problems for me today Rog.
being in northern ireland which isnt exactly the hub of the universe then its taking about 9 seconds currently although it comes and goes.
.normally quite often after 11pm till early hours its as slow as a week in the jail.
still 5 to 10 second delays
only on this site - I use many other sites so I know it is not me or the browser
its not you.im the same 5–10 seconds,not on any other pages of tinterweb,only here.
even allowing for the buffering then pornhub is much quicker… 
As said . Other websits and fora 1 or two seconds. Tnet and all subfora and posts 10 to 30 secs.
its coronavirus trucknet style the recurring plague .
apart from the bad vesrions like today,then its not uncommon after 11pm till early hours when its constantly as slow as a week in the jail.
there is no apparent cure and i wonder how many truck related crashes it has caused by drivers constantly looking to see if the page timed out instead of looking out the windscreen…were all doomed.
It’s been slow for about three days for me, in fact for a short while yesterday evening the site wouldn’t load at-all.
I think the server needs oiling
