Just seen that there is strong advice not to carry out the latest Windows 10 update or delete it if you did. It’s apparently causing chaos. So maybe a problem at both ends? hexperts again and their new toy they want to try out no doubt.

I don’t really see why a Windows update would affect the speed of only Trucknet-UK, every other website works as normal for me.
Slowness only affects this site and no other sites I am on so it is definitely an issue with this site
I have PMd the site manager
Its slower than usual on my android phone. Other sites seem as normal.
…or does the forum need more coal on the fire? Its very slooooooow to change threads .
Im finding it slower today aswell.
Not just you
No it’s not just you, the forum is very seriously slow, there’s obviously something wrong somewhere. And unlike the usual reply from site owners, “it must be your system”, I’ve just done a speed test and I’m actually getting faster than usual!! So there’s something wrong with TN!!!
Agreed…
It’s slower than Dartford northbound on a Friday afternoon.
Already being discussed in the feedback forum.
yep, just to stick another lump on the fire its been slow for 2 days… Ricki will sort it…
Thought my phone needed cleaning up.
Anybody would think I visited dodgy sites that slowed it down.
I blame coronavirus…

I thought the same thing.

I’ve merged the two so at least members only need to load one thread to complain now.
Feedback? both ways?
We know the team is aware but is it :" We’re scratching our heads blundering around in the dark" or “we’ve identified the cause which is related to xyz but the work-around is very complicated and we are still in the testing phase; we are hopeful that normal service will be resumed by X o’clock on ***day” ?
Or is it: “there’s a smell of fried chip coming from the server room” ?

Don’t worry we’re offering refunds of exactly half of this years subscription fee as compensation for such a shoddy service.
As for the reasons it’s slow, [zb] knows, not my department all I know is I’m suffering the same hang times as everyone else, thankfully pornhub is still ok though so not the end of the world quite yet.
Pages are slow loading, but the sponsors load as per normal, It’s like we’re all on pre-mod.
Hi Chaps, sorry for the delay I am supposed to be on holiday this week ! but with this apocalypse looming ( apparently) its all gone a bit crazy !
I will put a ticket in with our IT bods - but it may take a while to get resolved, they are bit busy getting systems in place in case the usual office based staff have to work from home.
and for the record I have no idea why its so slow either !
Looks like someone’s put a new elastic band on the server, it seems to be working faster now
Thanks to whoever fixed it
Is it just me or is it back tonight to how it was?
