New BP garage J39 M1

There is a new BP garage just off J39 on the M1 that has just opened very recently.

Why am I telling you this?

Well consider that Woolley Edge is a BP and is currently selling diesel at 151.9pl, whereas the new garage is currently selling it at 137.9pl, it’s not rocket science to work out the savings. It’s HGV friendly, and has a Spar supermarket attached to it and a Starbucks, so no more services prices for your essentials.

Not sure about parking nearby, as there isn’t any in the garage, but you can bet the NIMBY’s will be out in force as soon as someone tries to overnight in the area.

It’s right next to the roundabout on the Wakefield side, and access back onto the M1 is very easy.

Spread the word, and avoid being ripped off by MSA’s.

Ken.

Very nice :sunglasses: just watch your speed round there :open_mouth: very keen! :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

It’s that close to the junction, you won’t have time to get speed up.

Oh, and on the opposite side of the carriageway, behind the first row of houses, is a cracking chippy.

Ken.

There are cameras on the roundabout as you enter the estate that will watch your every move, and the chippy is directly opposite

Is that the pugneys junction■■?

jessicas dad:

Is this a euro garages concern, cause if it is it will be key fuels.

Yes it is, also West Yorkshire’s finest have a nice shiney office complex further on the estate so explains why they are keen around there. Also the HATOs as well.

Maybe not, as the Starbucks while on the same site, is about 50 yards away so unless your tank is empty, it won’t be made in time.

Ken.

Presuming you are using a Bp card and not paying cash, your employer/card owner wouldnt be charged the pump price . . would they?

some fuel stations will charge only pump price on fuel cards (always worth asking the fuel card providers too send a list of those that do) also some will charge handling fee’s on fuel card purchases.
