You are NOT WELCOME

Just a sad pathetic excuse off a man. Some people will always find something to whinge about.

Can someone enlighten me please ■■? Maybe I am not educated enough but under with law VOSA should enforce any of those lorries ?
I thought that traffic law is enforced by POLICE not VOSA :unamused:

i think Aidy Riggott dreamed about buying a house in the middle of nowhere with green fields and countryside for miles, then came the industrial development and he’s ■■■■■■ off.if you want to move to the countrside get out of manchester ya lemon :unamused:

It’s been a massive industrial area since the 30’s

I go to Buckshaw Ind estate quite regularly, and it aint the parking they ought to worry about, its the speeding car drivers, when you turn off the A6 onto that road its a moderate decent on a slight right hand curve towards the industrial buildings which the road runs between, and the village is further on, never been that far. but if you have the audacity to slow down because you want to turn into one off the units, cars will overtake/undertake at speed, without a care for the manouvre you are making. there will be an accident, and that will be the more likely cause :open_mouth: .

I also think that this road which is new, as is the industrial park, was built for the industrial park, I wonder if its an old collery site or something like that, but its ironic that this road that has given a new access route to the village was built for the purposes of the industrial park :unamused: . yet its the villages short sighted inhabitance that can only see as far as their own inconvenience :unamused:

I reckon this memberoff the council is trying to make a bit off a name for himself. best keep my naming suggestions to myself

I didnt know that, the bit I go to looks brand spanking new to me

He’s quite obviously a tool!

I don’t understand what vosa is supposed to do about this? Unless any of those trucks have depots at that industrial estate and are using public roads as overspill they can’t do anything.

Like RPL do in Bradburne Road, MK

Always got me this one. Industrial estate or Haulage yard has been in existence for 20/30 or more years, someone cashes in and sells some land. As soon as the houses go up, and knowing full well what is on their doorstep, Mr and Mrs Nose Stuck in the Air move in and then start a campaign to get the industrial estate or the haulage yard closed down.

But same Mr and Mrs Nose Stuck in the Air move in next to the railway line and not a peep from them. Because:

  1. Mr Nose Stuck in the Air finds it more convenient for his pen-pushing job in the city, shadily speculating on the future values of commodities essential to sustain normal life for everyone else.
2)They know they haven’t got a cat’s chance of getting the railway moved.

Next step for the Noses is, having succeeded, to launch a new campaign for a lorry ban to force the lorries needing to access the replacement industrial estate to pass everyone else’s house in the surrounding area except those in their little empire.

After this comes campaign three for a by pass, which will incidentally put all the local shops out of business, but will make it easier for Mrs Nose Stuck in the Air to :
1)turn right out of Knob Hill Crescent.
2)Allow her 50 yards of room in the now defunct High Street to park her Chelsea Tractor without having to engage reverse and right outside brat numbers one and two’s play school.

I was in a pub last week with a nice beer garden which was pretty busy due to the weather. Was chatging to one of the barstaff who was saying they are having murders with a neighbour over noise.
Its not a loud music pub just a regular family local. The pub is victorian the house is no more than five years old and its in Hackney not the middle of the countryside

When I was working for the police I had someone ring me to moan about the church bells ringing on a Sunday. This is the state of the country now :unamused:

There is nothing wrong with the parking on that road, the “Signs” are DIY ones and definatly not put up by the council

I would park up outside this ■■■■■ house to ■■■■ him off

Just to clarify

The village was built onto a site of a former munitions factory and has been growing for the past 10-15 years. The area is privately managed apart from the industrial zone and the main road through the site which was adopted by the local council.

The area in question is the industrial zone and some unadopted roads in and around the various continued constructions. The majority of the pictures are of a road which branches off the main through road (adopted one) to the new train station and Tesco, it is also the industrial access road. In shot these poor delicate middle class not in my backyard oddballs are worried about viewing parked lorries on their way to Tesco’s. Which incident would have it they bitched and moaned about too.

Some people need to get a hobby instead of spending their days taking photos of parked trucks! I deliver to buckshaw weekly and park there when I don’t need to just to annoy the camp looking man that takes photos, I’ll be there this week and will say hi.

It looks like it’s his own site so I doubt he’ll post my comment

A few left hooks to the head wouldn’t go amiss either.

Someone needs to go there and take them all down if they’re not proper ones or report the flyposting to the police.

I think that all the truckers there should turn up to the next committee meeting.

Yeah but to be fair Micky he was putting the finishing touches to his suicide vest and every time the bells rang he and his soldering iron jumped!

Im not much of a poster on any site, more of a watcher, but this man is clearly an idiot, so iv added my slightly sarcastic 2pence worth.
