K.Adams:

Now I might be wrong but I think this was taken at Pickering Truck show 1990?

Volvo F12 400 and I think the driver who had it was John Barlow

Yeah you’re probably right with 1990!

a few from Newark last weekend

Dave the Renegade:
Here’s a few taken at Knighton livestock market last month.I have plenty more, will have a look through.Let me know if they are suitable.

M E Edwards.

Not sure who owns this

Cheers Dave.

The red and white Scania is owned by Clarry Whistance, Llantillio transport.

Im not sure if this DAF CF 6 wheeler is a livestock hauliers wagon , or it belongs to a farmer/dealer.
Maybe Truck Traveller will know the correct answer.

Photographed at J 36 Crooklands Auction Mart.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

H.H. Smith & Son`s Scania 6 wheeler hails from Whitby, on the East Coast of Yorkshire.
Photographed at Hawes Auction Mart.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Another visitor from the East Coast of Yorkshire is this DAF XF belonging to David Barker from Scarborough .

Thanks for the photograph , Jackdaw . They`re all welcome on here .

The Volvo belongs to Scottish livestock hauliers R.W. Stewart from Bo`ness.
Stewarts deliver a lot of livestock to the main abattoirs .

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

P.S.
Having looked again at the photo ,… the Volvo may belong to Riley Brothers from Lancashire .
Both fleets have similar livery.

A sad loss to the Yorkshire livestock haulage industry is the untimely death of Trevor Kitchingman , who died last Friday night.
His loaded cattle wagon was involved in the R.T.I. on the M 6 , southbound , between junctions 42 and 41.

cattle wagon man.

Hi “Tyneside” ,
Im not sure who owns the Scania 6 wheeler , but the livestock semi-trailer bears a Scottish hauliers name.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Its not only The Big Stuffthat Esholt-based Fred Greenwood & Son own. A well-presented firm needs a well-presented mobile advertisement to add to the fleet. Not many sheep will fit in the back of theirrunabout` van :unamused: , seen here at Bentham Auction Market.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Thanks to “coca cola kid” for the splendid photographs. They are always welcome on here.

A J.M.Bell & Son Scania, loading at Bentham Auction Market. The dark sky (rightly :frowning: ) forcasted the rain soon after
I took the photo.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

I took this photograph at Crooklands Auction Mart a couple of months ago.

This is where “Truck Traveller” `s livestock haulage knowledge will be of use , please. :unamused: :bulb:
Does the Volvo belong to Andrew Atkinson , as the colour is similar to that of his.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Away from the big stuff for a change .

Fred Greenwood & Son`s MAN , shown here on display at Barnard Castle Truck Show , last year.

Cheers , cattle wagon man,

Photographed during dull weather at Barnard Castle Truck Show , August 2013.
Sadly , the photo doesn`t do justice to this fine Scania.

I understand that a 1/50 th. model of this F. Greenwood & Son Scania and 4 deck livestock semi-trailer
is to be released sometime in the future.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Hi CWM was in Frome Market Friday selling my heifers and took a picture of a truck from Selby, do you know them. There were
a lot of big buyers from the north of England for the first annual Candlemas sale of store cattle, cheers Buzzer.
