Father in law had, iirc, the 2nd from the left, back row.

Yes Brit ocean was part of the CEL group, the reason hes got Yorkshire on his roof was because he was a subbie from Yorkshire.
Thats an old style private plate, you didn’t have to wait for the right year to use a letter back then, unlike now when you have to wait for 61s to be issued before you can go for an ■■61 ■■■ private plate.
So that could be earlier in the nineties.

firstly, which picture are you referring to?
and, secondly, you are incorrect with what you said about using private plates, as goaty said, you are not, and never have been, allowed to make a vehicle look ‘newer’ than what it actually is with a registration number
