yep got a bonus not linked to anything its goin in the bank today
i got 0 i work for the careing company i say careing i mean they dont really care as long as u make them as mutch money as possible then laugh at u expect u to be ready to work saturday 27th dec and maybe 28th if we get a call in hmm let me think about that i dont get stand by money so that means no drink on boxing day and if they change there mind and want me sunday thats no drink saturday night i have thought about this i think they can kiss my fat hairy no2 passage 
$1300 plus two diaries, a ham and a travel mug.

Well im not getting a bonus this year as I refuse to work more than 6 days out of 7, and even then there is a 99% chance I wont make the 6th day!

Yeah thats right. If I was working for a coach company then those rules would apply. I just started a new job for First Glasgow recently and rules dont seem to apply to them (or so they think anyway) because they are local services.
Well I got Ā£250,no complants at all.

Yes, we get a bonus - don`t know how much, but the best bonus I get is knowing I work for a good boss, who treats me as a professional, and respects my opinion

with such a good boss I hope you offered to donate your first weeks wages to his deisel fund after the new year 
i got a 16lb turkey (as there is only two of us will still be eating it at easter) two boxes full of friut and veg (all exotic stuff as well) i couldnt even carry them!!! Christmas do on 3rd jan including 3 course meal and all drinks paid for and taxis home. And Ā£50. Not bad First time i ever got goodies like this.

It is very poor when you think more about getting a new truck (which I might add is not yours) to getting paid a bonus. I am reminded of a conversation overheard somw years back between two drivers from Linconshire, one asked āAre you getting an anual raise this year?ā
āNo , the boss said I could have a raise or a new F10, I took the new F10ā
Time will tell and I hope you will see that your own welfare is far more important than your bosses new trucks.
No bonus as such, BUT My new gaffer did invite us all up the house for a meal today (well his wife did) BUT we couldnt go as Im still as sick as a lodging house cat with the flu! This flu is damned ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā , Im wondering will it ever go.

Keep taking beechams powders, i got over it in 3 days which was lucky.
Ive tried all sorts of foul remedies! But now its penicillin, as the infections moved into me ears. The best thing is, I know one or two thatve have it, and it seems like about 2 weeks is the max so far. Fingers crossed! The bloody agency phoned me today for some work as Im off, but I cant do it, typical! GRRRR!

I became ill with a sickness thing in the second week of September. The following week I caught the flu thing and it stayed with me one way or another until the last week of November!!
Iām generally quite healthy and shake off these things in a couple of days, but not this one.
