oh well mate the day is fubarred now so take it steady home… also a choice between a day in the pub or looking after your lad is no contest,not that i need to tell you that mate…
as for the game tomorrow i dont really know, there’s been some very surprising results…

shocking penalty miss by Kane 
after his earlier superb peno. suprised when southgate took off Sako,who i thought was England’s best player on the day.
Still gutted 20 odd hours later. …seriously so.
As a fan over the years I’ve watched some poor England teams and poor England performances, this was NOT one of them.
They defended well,.the midfield were pushing on,.and Kane (and Saka) was getting supply in the box…imo they were the better side 
, France were obviously (to anybody who understands football) rattled.
Bad decisions by the ref, and THAT penalty. …I would have put a years wage on that being converted,.whether it was because it was his team mate keeper, or not,.who knows…still can not believe it.
It’s always been fashionable to knock the England side,.but as I said if you fully understand the game, it’s tactics and it’s formations, you know that they could hardly have played any better.
I only hope that Southgate stays on for the Euros in 18 months, his record as a manager is second only to Ramsey, and supersedes even my own personal football hero Bobby Robson.
Anyway it’s over for the squad and the fans, they should fly back in with their heads held high imo.
As for the rest of the football calendar…Looking forward now to The Toon doing a ‘Leicester City’ at the end of the season.
