sure its got to the stage now where you darent stop to help some wifey with a flat tyre, broken down or otherwise in case they take a wobbler when your coming up to help.the women squaking on about equality has closed the manners door for me.its still not so bad over here, and definately still ok in eire, but i wouldnt be helping anyone in certain situations whereas years ago i would have.
what a piece of sxxt, the kind of bloke I and no doubt a few other drivers would like to meet, ought to do something about his taste in clothes too, green jumper with brown shirt, just does not go

I came off jcn10 M23 a few years ago to go to east Grinstead,as I got to the roundabout a woman had broken down,no lights, nothing, she looked at me as I came through on the inside lane probably hoping I would stop but I carried on to east Grinstead,i felt guilty but at 03 30 in the morning I could not take a chance on stopping in case she was a decoy for something else, you never know

http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/attacked-lorry-driver-busy-dual-carriageway/story-25843830-detail/story.htmlAssuming I am just a typical driver I do know that when I park up for the night I go through my usual routine.
Tidy cab, think about food, ■■■■ up the wheel, count any vouchers, contemplate dragging females to my cab, stand in line at burger king, eat, pack up the food stuff so no smell, get ready for bed , kick out dragged female, listen to radio for a bit, hope to get some sleep, worry about next day route/load/ put light back on read a bit, try to go back to sleep, shower, walk back to wagon, step over dragged female, drive off. just an ordinary night out.

I read this story on Facebook and my 1st thought was BOLLOX!
I saw the ‘interview’ and the girl (and her size) and my 2nd thought was BOLLOX!I’m basing a few assumptions on an average DAF XF or Volvo FH or whatever, but the floor is approx 5’ off the deck, so she was at the passenger side and he tried to drag her into the lorry.
Have you seen the size of her? I’m quite a strong bloke and I’d have no chance of pulling her up into the cab, in fact, nobody could (maybe Arnie in a movie?).
There’s a lot of reports of stuff going on just lately, things like this and 9yr old girls attempted kid-napping but they escape etc, and I think there’s a lot of ‘crying wolf’ going on rather than actual incidents.
Just my opinion of course.
You would make a bad copper .
In past many sick [zb] of prevs killed woman in houses down stairs and body was found up stairs or some cases months/years in attic.Just because unit cab has 3 steps up to it and you have weirdo driver thinking he could get her in to cab never rule nothing out.
Look in past how sick attackers the length they go to for there thoughts of sick head.
Normal stairs are on an angle, as you’ll discover when you’re ■■■■■■■ you can crawl up them.
Truck steps are straight up, you’d have to be Hulk Hogan to drag that heffer straight upwards from BELOW your feet height.
Stand on a sofa and try lifting something off the floor, start with something light like a fork or a pen, and work your way up to something that weighs - I’m guessing - 12 stone… Remember the full 12 stone must be below your feet, so a lay down larger than average woman…
Try it, even consider it, and then think again
If she said that he had pushed her into her car then I would be inclined to believe her story.
Yep theres also elf and safety to consider. The driver would get no compo If he did his back in, especially If he had been on a manual handling course.
i still say most drivers dont stop on a busy road at 2pm or whatever to drag a woman into his cab?
at night/dark yes maybe but as the police report said several cars/vehicles drove by?
has anyone been caught? did she get a reg/name on truck etc? lets be fair they dont pull away the quickest.
like i said before i its true then hope he gets caught/punished but something isnt right to me.
been racking my brains on this one, especially this bit
The vehicle is described as an articulated lorry with a light coloured cab, possibly white or silver, and was pulling a large curtain-side trailer, which was light blue.
The trailer was said to have some lettering on the side towards the rear.
only a couple of vehicles spring to mind and one (that i know of) has a depot in that area.
knauf.
light blue, writing towards the rear.
as for the unit, silver or white, on a 64 plate, good chance it could be a merc demonstrator as they are silver round here, white, could be anything, rental, demo, anything…
