Winseer's take on the Budget

GBD:
strange how we as a society can go on about how the skivers and scroungers of this world are getting there 50 or 60 quid a week for nothing but say nothing about our elected politicians screwing us stupid through expenses( oh yes dont think that stopped just because they got there fingers caught in the till, they,ve just made sure you will never find out again about it !!!) and the “job for the boys” policy that every government past and present has operated. i cannot complain about my taxes going to the unemployed when i,m happy to take up the backside from the politicians.

where does this leave us ? i think that the present government will continue there divide and conquer campaign and the general feeling of apathy in politics with joe public will carry on until nobody will vote and we can let whoever the last party who is in charge just stay in power forever( after all they all have then same u-turn policies now anyway !!)

just as an afterthought, when we say “labour left the country in ruin” please do not be so naive, they never had the united states or frances, greeces, irelands or numerous other countries central accounts but the bankers there done exactly the same as our own and do not have to beheld to account for the mess !

I was going to read this until I got to the point where you said they get £50/£60 a week, then I gave up because it’s obvious your out of touch.
I worked it out when I was going to be made redundant and total benefits Iwe would have got were over £350pw, I was the sole earner in the house earning £350 a week working my ■■■■■■■■ off on nights 6 days every week, paying to commute to work, no help with anything other than child benefit, I would have been no worse off on the dole, me and my missus with one child.

So don’t make out they are hard done by.

try being a single male 18-26 cos if you haven’t got a kid somewhere you’ll get just that! It’s easier to go work for domino’s and get £150 a fortnight (if you can get the hours over the Bulgarians and Pakistanis) and you can of course only do that if you’ve already worked your arse off to get a driving license (pass the inane test that teaches you no driving skill) get a car, insure it and then fuel it!

I’ve worked since I was 12 paper rounds labouring for land scaper’s working in warehouses also going all the way through school, in my working life I’ve had 16 jobs (been made redundant twice) already I’m 25, I’ve been on the dole once and that was after being unemployed for 2 months trying to find a driving job I was only on for a week, because I really didn’t want to and I had some savings so I used them until I couldn’t any more.

It gets my back up so much when you hear people in a permanent job and all they do is moan this is [zb] jobs [zb] lorries [zb] we get treated [zb]. These people are talking out of their arse they have a good job in which the company pay for there CPC, license renewal, ADR, HIAB and let you use the company vans when your cars in for a service or MOT. How can people have the cheek to moan about that when there is people out there who are actually willing to work

What so you think your the only one who has done naff jobs, I washed/valeted cars at a dealership every evening and all day Saturday and half day on a Sunday 15 years ago for £20 a week, I’ve leflet dropped, I’ve stacked shelves, I’ve worked in warehouses doing picking, I paid for my own licence out of my redundancy (luckily my family helped me get it before I got made redundant, then paid them back) I dint get any hand outs from DWP, I’ve never had a penny but always paid in.

There’s 1000 of jobs, many are menial and some not so nice but they are jobs none the less, out where I live there is tons of field/packhouse work do the English apply? No! Why? Because it’s had graft!

I wasn’t saying I’m the only one who’s done poor paid jobs or what have you I guarantee there’s 10’s of thousands if not hundreds, it’s just there’s people in jobs which are secure and pay well above NMW and they still man about things when they really shouldn’t be! I worked at Ford in Dagenham on a production line twice once for 12 months once for 19 months both times got laid off due to them doing ■■■■ in the markets but both times I was on a temp contract. There is people in there who moan about the conditions they get paid £480-£600 a week take home for doing sweet FA and only working Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts lates earlies nights, they get holiday at pay and a third they can get all sorts of benefits from Ford but they still moan about how ■■■■ the job is.
What I’m trying to get at is some people just don’t know how good they’ve got it :exclamation: :exclamation:
I fully agree about the field and packhouse jobs the problem is teenagers get pushed at school to just go to uni school’s are just pushing kid’s to get god results so they can get more funding so they can pay management a better wage. the ones who drop out used to go and get jobs now they just go straight onto the dole and knock out a few kids with someone/anyone and then they get house and more money from DWp or whatever

i was going to read your comment until i got to the point where you mistakenly said i,m out of touch ( my eldest just got a job and guess what, he was on about 50 quid a week on the dole !!!) perhaps you should of carried on reading it as i cant see where i said they are hard done by. my point actually being that you can make an issue over how you had to work your nuts of to earn £350 per week but you have even commented on my remarks about the politicians spending of hundreds of thousands of tax payers pounds.

sheeple sheeple, we can all outdo each other with the crappiest job we have done but really :unamused:

And as already said they have turned working class people against each other.

Money and material things are all that matter these days. We are all probably guilty of some form of greed and without standards of decency, moral fibre and the ethics of past generations. So ■■■■ sad.

Over a period of time you own three cars the Labour model, the Conservative and a Liberal one and they have all been dross,So now it’s time to replace
your car, do you buy one you have already classed as dross or do you look round to find one that might offer something else, what about that UKIP model,
don’t know too much about it but it can’t be any worse than what you’ve already owned,so hell, yup, might as well give the UKIP car a go and if it proves
dross maybe move back to one of the previous who might just have realised they will have to improve the model if anyone wants to take them seriously.
I’ll be buying the UKIP model, might as well see how it goes, might just surprise me with it’s performance, time will tell.

I’ll think I’ll tune into the big LBC debate coming up - Wednesday 19:00 I believe… I’m dying to hear what reason cleggy gives as to why it’s good for the actual rank and file worker of the UK to “be and stay in Europe”…

All the europhile bull I’ve heard so far involves it being a cushy deal for employers wanting cheap labour, and low-export overheads.
Last time I looked though, there were over 100 rank and file employees to every “employer”. In some parts of the UK, that ratio is over 10,000-1!

Not very good value if this is all “vote buying” is it? I’m fairly sure that an election cannot be won on 4000 employers voting for this bunch of idiots that calls itself a government “staying in power”, whilst over 40 million are voting “otherwise”…

Back to the thread subject itself… Pensions: Who’s really gonna draw down their entire pension pot and buy a ferrari? - Most people’s pension pot might just about pay off the mortgage… Hmm. I wonder if this is another bank back-door bailout… Convinced that the vast majority of “interest only” mortgage payers will default come the mortgage’s maturity date, what a whizzo idea - let’s nick your pension to pay off that debt! If you couldn’t access that money, and you defaulted, we’d just have to write that loss off, re-house the evictee, and pay them the full state pension, seeing as they no longer have a pot to ■■■■ in. :bulb: :bulb: :bulb:

Being a single male today is the hardest position you could be in.
Labours idea of not paying the young if they refuse a job is ■■■■.
The only jobs avaliable to them will be minimum wage on zero hour contracts. The employer will cream the profits while the employee will be struggling to get by each week.
By the way. I’ve never voted Concerative.

Feeble as it may seem, we somehow have to smash the stranglehold the three (two) main parties have on this country.

Politics in this country is corrupt, without proper leaders and needs a bloody good shake up. It’s so boring and bereft of ideas. They all seem to have solutions to the woes created by them that went before but its always in 3/4 years time when they hope people will have forgotten what was promised to get elected. Shysters!

Who cares whether UKIP is a ‘nutters’ party? The fact is the vast majority of ‘voters’ in this country must also be ‘nutters’ because they keep voting for the same old same old!

Lets give the others a bloody nose, get our own borders back and see what happens. Obviously if you play lots of bingo and drink cheap ale (remember you can save a whole penny) then UKIP isn’t for you but if you want to see something different…

How does it go?

“You can fool a few of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time - but never all of the people all of the time.”
