Somewhere in Redesdale, Kirkwhelpington way. On a real back road. Only a local is gonna spot that
the problem with these trees is there is at least three of them in the UK with the original one, like nick 2008 said is alongside the A40 near Stokenchurch. I don’t know where this one is but like Wolfie I’m sure I’ve seen this while out and about on the bike.
Wolfie is correct. It’s near Kirkwhelpington. I’m not a local but spotted it while taking a sneaky wee shortcut while the Wark road was shut (although I later discovered it wasn’t shut, just the signs hadn’t been changed). Here’s an article about said tree. …
