I don’t suppose the agency would foot the repair bill. I would have thought it will be the trucks owner’s insurance or maybe the agency’s insurance…

Agency bloke on our place hit a bridge just off Hangar Lane roundabout 13’3 job in a 14’2 trailer. Wouldn’t be so bad but the exit from the roundabout (first one off the North Circ’) is so ■■■■ tight its a wonder he didn’t take out the signs warning of the impending height and width limits.He hit the bridge, without stopping to report it. And proceeded to his collection point.
Naturally the folk there said that they couldn’t load a parallelogram, but he said it would be ok, he’d just give it a good old ram or three onto the bay and it’d be as right as rain. It’d square it up no problem.
Needless to say he is no longer driving for us.
Whereabouts exactly, I end up in that part of the world quite a bit and have racked my brains but cant
think where that is.

Thanks coffeeholic makes sense now,I have done a bit for RM into their Queen Elizabeth bulk mail centre ,all double decker work and couldn’t think where that bridge would be.
