Yeah have just done an online theory test checker and got 41 out of 50 on part one, definitely need to do some brushing up on LGV signs lol

You could always book an assessment at Peter Smythe’s they have excellent instructors, Chris and Nick, just my opinion but I doubt you’ll find a better training provider good luck with your test.
Mine is going to cost £1,141 with J Coates, 5 days including test. I saw cheaper ones @ £900 but drivers at my old work said they were good and worth it, starting in mid May for training and test. That covers 17 hours of training i think including an hour either way on test day.
Fuel alone must be £300
I’m getting invites, recommendations from all over the country at the minute, Essex, Devon, Nottingham, but no-one near Birmingham as yet lol From what I’ve seen and heard, Peter Smythes outfit does sound good, I may have to think seriously about that one
£1,141 sounds about right for 5 days + test mate, I was quoted £981 and that was for Theory and 3 days + test. I strongly recommend shopping around, not just for the price (although that is a very strong, influential factor) but also for the service supplied too. Are they straightfowrad and honest with you and explain things so you can understand? How much running around and booking do you have to do yourself? Theory? CPC? Truck hire for test are all things to consider…

I’ve been quoted 965 for 20 hrs CE training inc test fee but it means traveling an hour and a half each way, my local school want over 500 more for only 16 hours, when I asked if they would give a discount I was told in not so many words to ■■■■ off I consider that I’ve done well to walk away.
Expensive is not necessarily good and cheap is not always bad. Common courtesy costs nothing…sorry don’t mean to rant.

I am still looking at all options at the moment, considering price and value etc…Price wise I’ve managed to get it down to £810 for theory, 5 days + test Got another couple of assessments the weekend so will keep you all posted. Not wishing to sound pedantic, but you said you didn’t need the same time as everyone other Learner, due time spent on the buses.

i passed first time with these too about 5 years ago. I also had had several years experience driving coaches.
in all honesty, i couldnt rate them high enough altho my first impressions were…dubious lol
