I’m off tomorrow on me hols tea time with the wobbler to Swiss. Give me a flash if you see me.

Oxford, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Koblenz, (pos Leige) then Wapping, rest of wk dunno prob a Worcester, Northants to Ashford & pos a Ramsgate later in the wk.

i am going to see the headmaster tomorrow. he has skipped the agency and his managers to ask me why i have refused to work at his site. i was talked into reconsidering for a week but he wants to know why i no longer wish to work there. his managers are bricking it because he has never gone directly to a driver before. he has always demanded answers from the agencies in the past but this is unprecedented and i knew it would happen if i chose to leave

Like it, go in with All Guns Blazing, the truth will hurt the Monkeys on the Desks, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for better conditions.

‘Headmasters’ usually stick by their Teachers/Office Monkeys, they don’t like spending more than they have to (where’s that next Bentley coming from ?) but it will be good if he listens to you.

Lucky Git, I’ve got another two weeks before we’re off to Bonny Scotland in Marvin the Motorhome.

Have a Good Un.

i have had a couple of days to think about it and i think i have what i want to say and it isnt about the office staff. the conditions wont improve but i have been approached by a former client anyway and the offer is very appealing although we have laid down our own conditions from the start

I like to Tell 'em how it is, when you have an exit interview, a few revelations in the Big Man’s Ear, never does much good, but at least he might take some of your opinion on board.

It was a productive and friendly chat. It certainly wasn’t the issue that he was expecting and i think that caught him off balance. He thought a particular manager was the issue which was very much the contrary. The manager in question is a bit shouty at times but he gets stuff done and i respect him for that. He never shouts at me but i don’t whinge at him so i don’t give him a reason to shout at me. In fact, i have him on facebook
