totally agree with you, its his money to do as he wants, would rather see a nice shiny well looked after truck,even if it does have 14 spotlights on it 
Says a lot about a person if they want to take a bit of pride in the vehicle where they spend most of their day. Whether it belongs to them or not! An if i were a company boss it would also have a very good reflection on what type of employee they are.
