hi all whats the maximum duty time for a 6 day week ? the firm i work for say i can do 68 hours of duty time over 6 days is this right ■■?
3x13 hours and 3x15 hours = 84 hours - but you won’t be able to fit your weekly rest in if you do it every week…
@The Sarge i thought you could only do 60 hours a week m8 ■■? undr the wtd ■■?

You can, but breaks, rest and poa do not count for that.
6 x 24 = 144
7 x 24 = 168
…and I wouldn’t mention 84 hours to your firm either
@Wheel Nut so say i do 5.30 am till 18.00 pm mon to friday then do 6.00 am till 14.30 pm is that ok then ■■?

Not every week, because you will be short on your weekly rest - 14:30 Saturday to 05:30 Monday is only 39 hours rest ( I think )
Wheel Nut:
No
More succinct than my reply, I’ll grant you

That totals 71 hours overall so It’s not legal unless you book a total of at least 11 hours as breaks or POA during those times.
A weekly rest period shall start no later than at the end of six
24-hour periods from the end of the previous weekly rest
period.
You must have one full rest period of 45 hours
@ all colud you please break it down for a nuget from wigan whats the max duty time for 5 days ■■?
3x15 hours plus 2x13 hours = 71 hours. I’m not taking the WTD into account there…
yes but the firm i work for is in the wtd so what duty time can i do ■■? they dont no them selves and they are supposed to look after the drivers duty hours

3 x15 + 9 = 24
2 x13 + 11 = 24
71
But of course you could extend that to four reduced rest periods in 5 days.
6 - 2100 Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and 6 until 1900 on Wednesday gives you 73 hours duty time
It still gives you a long weekly rest period

For Tacho rules and WTD maximum duty Monday to Friday = 71 hours. Monday to Saturday = 84 hours. No weekly rest during that time assumed.
For WTD maximum work Monday to Friday or Saturday = 60 hours but not every week as you must average 48 hours per week over the reference period your company use.
duty = driving, other work, break and POA done between the start and end of your shift.
work = driving and other work.
