1979 to be exact, was also a member of the Northern Ireland Citizens Band Club (NICBC).
We had a float in the Belfast Lord Mayors show that year and I was 14yrs old.

Back in the early 90’s mine was “Twinkle” but I’ll be beggared if I can remember why.
I remember it was some hilarious name put on me by some embarrassing ■■■■ up but the details evade me.
I was only a lad though, used to have portable CB’s with all my mate’s and we’d spend the day winding up taxi drivers. Occasionally one of my mate’s dads who drove tippers would come on and give us all a rollocking over the air.
