What firms are running in euro

Davie Malcolm no longer trading.

I was driving with Davie for only 6 months, excellent boss, unusual to here a please and thank you from a gaffer. His son Davie trading under D.K.Malcolm stil very much in the business, like his father a good guy. Heard Davie snr was trading as a freight forwarder using his old clients. If he started transport again i would knock on his door, even though I was stuck in Bae de Somme with a 1000 euro diesel bill and a blocked fuel card…

Keep seeing Hambledon Haulage go past my house here on the main road to Vire.

I see Riverford Farms’ Volvos running south east - south west France fairly regualrly. I believe they own some farms over here?

~ Craig

Yes, dead mens shoes I imagine though. It seems like a steady number. I know one of their drivers and he enjoys himself.

Hambledon Haulage good firm to work for, kit altogether, boss and owner the same guy decent fella looks after his drivers like a dad at times fella who runs the office top bloke, if your late he moves things around he understands the business and the issues on the roads.
Been going some 20+ years so knows the business and how to survive.

All in all I wont leave!!!

I was chatting to The Riverford Farm Shop stand at the Royal Cornwall Show and they said they use a contractor running in their colours.

Nice looking trucks.

Quayside: seen at least one of their trucks tipping seafood at Mericq in Agen ever morning for the past ten days. On Monday there were two, thought that British haulage was making a comeback, then remembered that we’re in August and half of Europe is on holiday.

Hi Carl and theoneandonly
Could he use a driver based in France, living an hour south of Ouistreham ?
Apparently you’ve already got one that lives here in Normandy
