I had a 40mm scalping come off a sheet-ed tipper and put a hole in my windscreen about three years ago. As a local ex tipper driver myself, I went straight to the quarry, as I knew the firm and driver and reported it. One of the girls in the office came out and I had a photo of it taken. To be fair the tipper operator payed up, and I didn’t have to pay an excess for a new screen.
