Cars worth more than the lorry

Booked in when??:

So some of you are away tramping. You spend all this money on a car that’s left for most of the week standing in a car park. I reckon the bloke with the old Toyota is the sensible one.

if you’re talking about me with the 20+ yr old Toyota I’m sorry to disappoint as here’s a pic of it [emoji6]0

Good god man! Why that colour on a Supra?

At the minute my daily run around is a Ford Mondeo ST220, great car to drive, never let me down. My drift comp car is a Nissan Silvia ps13 running a 2jz supra engine. Similar to this…

Not much can touch it on the road.

I got fed up with increasing massively the profits of the petrol companies with the X5 so went out and got this one, 2004 and 130k miles with all the boys toys and more

I’ve got an old 03 Scenic, gets me from A-B, cost me £740 so I’m happy.

My new one… :sunglasses:

Did you make sure it’s had a head gasket recently? Keep your eye out for any nasty ‘coffee froth’!

I fancy a change - no idea what to go for - they all seem to look the same these days?

Now they all do look the same, last Ford I had was stolen in 1990 - XR3i - now they were fun at the time, where are they all now??

A v reg rover 400 2litre. Picked it up last month. 49k, full leather, wood etc. 540 quid. Loving it. If it conks out, I will get another similar. To think i was considering leasing some crappy 106 or something for 120 a month!

The engine in them is the nigh on bulletproof T series engine. A very torquey unit.
Liked the 400 series.

I had the old 2 litre Turbo Diesel version and it was great, pulled well, economical, great car tbh if a little ■■■■■■ inside.
OK, doesn’t compare to the latest Diesels, but cost me £400 about 10yrs ago on an S (1998), so the newer diesels were only just taking off properly and were still bloody expensive - then there was the reliability issues.

My new to me E92 320 coupe.

It’s no rocket ship being the 2.0 but it’s fun to drive. Done 34000 miles in the last 5 years before I got it and well maintained. Can even get the kids in the back.

Somehow I bought my self an e39 earlier with broken engine. I probably needed a bit work over the summer vacation.
Anyway finnished now, it’s an 540 so it’s the 4.4 v8. Can’t deny it, amazingly noce car to drive even if it could do with 200hp more and a limited slip diff but it’s way to big and heavy for my taste.

just picked it up today, well worth the 3 month wait!!

My new ride I collected on Saturday
