(I may be gone for some time   )

There’s Windy Ridge Eating House at Trerulefoot, just off the roundabout, where the A38 meets the A374 (Torpoint Road). Torpoint is 20mins, Tamar Bridge 15mins. Excellent parking for lorries, clean, good food, showers and quiet (even a licensed bar).

Freebird, just for your info. Torpoint Ferry has an 18t mgw restriction, Tamar Bridge, no tolls into Cornwall but there is a 15’ bridge just before Trerulefoot roundabout (suitable diversions signed).

If you are coming in this way (A38) About 15 miles west of Trerulefoot, on the A390, St Austell bound, there is a 14’6" bridge, again easily avoided.

Regards

John

John, thanks very much for that, Im driving an 18 ton MAN donkey with a dog kennel sleeper 13’2" so I should be ok. SatNav does try to send you down the quickest footpath if it can so a little local knowledge to review routes is a great help.

BTW, is the CB place still there at Exeter MSA (last visit 12 years ago), I need a couple of bits (or can you recommend a place) (this is for my next book West Country CB Shops)

CDC (www.truckstuff.co.uk) have a place next to the Avonmouth truckstop; I think they’ve advertised on TruckNetUK.
