Radnorshire number on this Albion,but they never had an XFO here,so a mystery which my mate Paul Griffiths will solve.

Jabez Barker of Montford Bridge,Foden, I think that’s what Roy told me. atkidave will put me right on who’s it is.

Shame on you Dave! Thats an AEC Matador.

Ex B & J Davies, Bucknell. Owned by Bernard Owen of Bucknell when that photo was taken, parked up at Jonathan Garmon’s yard at Leintwardine. In later years it got worse than that, the cab fell off it.
B & J Davies put a Gardner (5LW i think) in this matador, you might be able to see in the photo that the radiator is extented out from the cab. Now owned by someone in the forest of dean, who is restoring it. They have taken the Gardner out and put an AEC lump back in to it. They have put an old Jabez Barker cab on to it.

I also know who put that old hub cap on the rad!

Someone with the same surname as you I expect Dave,thanks for the info.Roy did mention Jonathon Garmon’s yard,but he told me such a lot of stuff about so many photo’s,I forgot quite a bit of it.Which are you at tommorow Boatside or Hereford :question: .
