Some of Conod’s curret stock at their Barons Cross garage at Leominster.
The one on the left used to park up the road from me; Hayters’ used to get long service out of their wagons, although they’re going double deck trailers now so the 2 axle units are almost redundant, replaced by nearly new FH 420s.

Conod’s as you probably know are lorry dealers as well as running their own fleet.They export quite a few.I think there is a big development coming off in the area their premises are in,so it will be interesting to see if they relocate.

Re; The Hayter lorry at Conods, I’d guess it would be exported as those were originally S and T regs before being given private plates as Hayters get them. They really don’t look their age even up close…

Most of the lorries they get are old Nathan.Never seen anything very new at Conod’s thats why I always have a look when passing.They have usually got some interesting motors there.
