The S type , Bedford is a cracker , prob , a petrol ? Cheers Barry
Judging from the reg. plate it’s an early one, Barry. A little later, if it had been an oiler, it would have had a Perkins badge on and later still the “Diesel” script on the offside which meant that one of those new-fangled Bedfords was installed. Unfortunately, my old memory cell doesn’t let me remember which years the diesels were first fitted but I’m guessing it must have been around '52 or '53.
Just been down Daves page im so pleased to see all the posts put on his page . Myself and Archie are both well miss Dave loads but then again he will never be forgotten . I would like to wish all the Truck net members a very merry christmas and have a Happy new year to you all . Im not a Bah Humbug like Dave always said about xmas . But he went along with me always and that meant alot to both of us .
Thanks Tracy .
I’m not really a bah humbug, either, Tracy but don’t let on- my street cred wouldn’t stand it!
We miss him, too.
Merry Christmas to you and Archie.
Good to hear from you Tracy - here’s wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from a land down under.
All the best, Keith

Aye Harry, he’s such a miss
it’s good that the threads he started keep thriving. I never met Dave but, I felt that I had lost a true friend when I heard he’d passed. Ps. I hope you can make it to the"do" next Thursday 28th, it will be great to catch up on the chat.
Best wishes,Kev.
