Another well known outfit,this one seen on the A44 coming up the Bargates in Leominster.
Not to long ago that would have been an ERF, not sure if that DAF is the best replacement. 
Canât really comment on that John,there are half a dozen Daf rigids in the quarries this way.Some of The South Wales tarmac hauliers have Daf artics working from here most of the time.Have never heard an opinion either way on them.

There have been a few posts on hear about them being a bit unreliable, I had a brand new 3600 ATI when they came out, it really went well when it was going, but sadly it needed a fitters van following it most of the time. Maybe it was just a bad one they come in all makes donât they.

Perhaps as you say,you had a bad one. There are more Scaniaâs and Volvos in this area.Theres a Scania dealer in Knighton and aVolvo service dealer in Eardisley.
