Wahey!!

Well that’s me registered, it’s a bit like starting at “Big School” or having your firm relocate and you not knowing where everything is, I’m sure I’ll get the hang of things.

Not too sure why there’s a “post subject” section on the reply page, never mind it’s early days yet.

the only thing i would like changed is that the latest topic is posted at the top like the old forum page.apart from that it will do fine.

I did send an e mail asking if we got a manual with this but I must admit after a couple of hours playing on the site I think it is very good. But why did we have to re register? that is the only thing I could not fathom out, But congrades to ALL who set this up. I realy think its a professional site.

The 2 boards work on very different software … which is not easily compatable… moving over the membership list and all the old threads was my favoured option, but the time and heartache involved in doing it was far too much

Its a pity you can’t put the old forums onto this setup, but we can’t have every thing. Good to see there’s the preview button, in fact this looks exactly the same as trucknet Canada.

another good thing is you can see who is using the forums at any one time with there names at the bottom of the forum index.

The same format as my local site Gloucestershire Forums You’ll soon get used to all the little gadgets.
The preview option is very useful

Well done guys and gals. Much easier on the eye. One gripe if I might be so bold…why do we have to fill in the subject we are replying to when posting a response, after all you have lost sight of the topic title at that point

You don’t, it’s just there so you can title your reply if you want to.

I like the look of the new site but the smilies leave a lot to be desireed. I prefer the old ones. Must find my digi camera and get my photo on to frighten the lot of you:D.
