Yes it’s very similar to that. Will be doing the manual entry this morning.

Today I received a message from my contact at the agency today telling me that I needed to manually entry a 15min break at the end of my last shift to avoid an infringement.Very nice of them, as I wouldn’t have realised that was an option if I hadn’t posted in here
What is going on here?
Sounds very peculiar to me.

How do you mean? They’d seen that I’d made a mistake with the break from the time sheet and tachomaster I guess?
Are they saying you should somehow “overwrite” duty time recorded on card with break?
I’m sure what you’re doing here?

They’re not saying to overwrite anything, they’re saying that at the start of the next shift the OP should do a manual entry to add a break followed by some other work to the end of the previous shift in order to avoid an infringement.

Ah…
The total breaks for a longer shift not enough under WTO ?
So long as following daily rest if sufficient, that should fly.

Yes, my total break was 22 minutes and should have been 30 so I added another 15 at the end of the shift with some other work after it to avoid the infringement. Think I did it all correctly!
Took a 30 today, learning from my mistake.
How was shift #3?

How was shift #3?
All good thank you. The sun was shining and they gave me a rigid again. 3 deliveries in Bristol and Chippenham and I was finished in around 7 hours including a 30 minute break. The main thing that slowed me down yesterday was the empty cages you take back onto the lorry. They are harder to manouevre than the lorries! At drop number 3 I had to take some cages off to make a path out of the lorry ha ha. That’ll come with experience like everything I suppose, but was happy with how everything went. Hopefully will be back in an artic soon to get some grip of reversing them while it’s fresh!
Sounds good, and you didn’t mention your manual entry so hopefully you nailed that! You must so look forward to your Sundays.

Yep, I’m 99% sure that was all inputted as it should have been.
I am already growing to enjoy it (as opposed to being nervous about it), and I have only done 3 shifts. I’m hoping for more artic work in the next few months to keep my hand in that, but the rigid days have definitely been easier than my first shift
