The blokes who wear shorts all year tend to be overweight and have a peado style goatee. Possibly also with a very poor tattoo on their calf.
Bloke in front of me in Greggs on the Pops was in shorts, rigger boots and a t-shirt. Was -2 degrees outside. Must be the diet…he ordered four sausage rolls and a cream cake for his breakfast.
Its always the ones with a big tattoo on their leg showing it off,ok its a tattoo big deal if you are willing to freeze your nads off in this weather fair play to you, crack on
I always wear shorts, comfy to drive in, show off me tattoo’s and also make other drivers eye me up due to their surpressed homosexual tendencies…
In fact if your at an RDC and theres only one bloke wearing shorts its probably me, don’t be shy come and say hello…

No doubt for some of them it’s the same reason that even at this time of year, if you venture out of a Friday evening you see blokes with tee-shirts on and no coat. It’s an attempt to prove how ‘hard’ they are.
or stupid when they get flu and the missus has to look after them

Seem to have seen a lot of drivers wearing shorts lately even in this cold weather what’s all that about ? I live in them from about beginning of May till end of September but certainly not with this cold snap we have, I can understand posties wearing them as they’re on the go.
Anybody wear them this time of year ?
Try unloading 500 rolls of underlay handball and ul soon see why lol
My previous job was delivering laundry and running around for fifteen day with bags over your shoulder and up and down stairs was hot work.
In my last year in that job I wore shorts to work every day from March to the start of October (I wore them on the 1st just so I could say I wore them in October ).
I’ve worn them for a few weeks in the summer in my current job, but going into the freezer in shorts gets a bit of a chill up your legs, so I save it for the hottest weeks.
I did see a postman in Helmsdale this week getting out of his van (so not even walking the route) wearing shorts and wondering if he was just doing it for a bet.

Spot on. Its almost always obese guys who wear them in Winter. I won’t even wear them in Summer, takes me three steps before the leg on the shorts moves !!
