Volvo FH Mark 4

My mates

Immingham.

Seen this a few times now in our yard.

Ulceby,N.Lincs.

Scunthorpe,N.Lincs.

These look loads better when the grille is painted same colour as the truck itself.
Black grille spoils some in my opinion anyway

I think it depends on the colour of the truck? I don’t think it spoils the Coulthard truck?

Longthorne Bros,` Volvo FH , as it pulls away after refuelling at Crooklands .

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Look odd as a flat cab, so used to seeing Globetrotters and so on

I agree with you , “Dew” . Different from the norm.
There must be a genuine reason for those lads buying a lower-roofed Volvo.
Are those new FH cabs reaching to new heights in restricted overhead loading gantry clearances , etc.?

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

I know a lot of loggers and so on use lower cabs as they are less prone to damage when in forests and so, so I guess a similar reason to that. Either that or the buyer is a tight a**e
